Kavasa Foundation is a non-profit organization started in the year 2019. It involved in various activities that helps homeless and underprivileged people for their upliftment. Our work focuses on influencing a positive change in their lives we touch by
- Empowering communities through comprehensive initiatives including educational scholarships, skill development classes, study materials, career guidance.
- Providing Emergency Medical Health care support for Homeless/children/old age.
- Striving for a hunger-free nation by providing food to the homeless.
- Fostering environmental sustainability through tree plantations and educating children on nature’s significance.
- Facilitating infrastructure development of Rural Communities.
- Ensuring child protection against abuse through awareness programs.
- Inspiring wonder and awareness through vibrant wall paintings in government schools and public areas.
ABOUT US
G.LATHA-FOUNDER
I strongly believe that every woman should get employment that made me to start an NGO in the year 2019. I started working harder to provide Counseling for children/Women about the importance of education and job.
We also work harder to set up the small level business and also provide skill development classes for single divorced/deprived women ( tailoring, skill development training, mehndi classes, book shops, flower shops, stationery shops, etc).
We also Provide job assistance Technical and Non-Technical to educated youngsters, by our skill development and training program on various skills on ITES and IT services through organizations with no cost for the socially underprivileged society.
G.SINDHU- COFOUNDER
I work as a Software Engineer in an MNC Company.My passion helped me involved in social activities giving my best in everything that i was taken so far.
I strongly believe that a child gets a good Environment based on three major things.
i) We focus on Educating deprived/underprivileged children for their upliftment.
ii) As a part of Medical facilities we see many parts of villages is still facing problem to travel to the hospital on time due to lack of transportation facilities. We are focusing on the Medical camps and also providing ambulances to those villages that are in need.
iii) Infrastructure is the basic one to be focused on as a part of Rural areas.

More than 150 students are benefited with scholarships so far and we wish to increase every year

We are providing One meal a day - zero hunger Nutritious food for homeless /children’s Smiley box - which contains provisions and veg for family who are in need. Food supplements for old age/ immune less children’s.

Camps has been put up in all the Schools , public areas to know the importance about tree plantation and slapping has been distributed to the school students and public people. Saplings have been planted by them in schools grounds , parks, outside the play areas .

We have successfully completed 50 schools and now collaborated with GCC for the remaining schools in Tamil Nadu. We have worked with Police, Municipalities, corporations for public awareness campaign throughout Tamil Nadu.
