We are reaching out with an urgent appeal to help save the life of Baby Nikitha, a precious 6-month-old baby girl from Vikravandi, Villupuram District.
Nikitha is the beloved daughter of Mr. Krishna Raj, a daily wage worker, and Mrs. Nithya, a homemaker. What should have been a joyful beginning to her life has instead become a challenging battle for survival.
Nikitha has been diagnosed with a serious congenital heart defect known as Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD). She has a large hole in the wall separating the two lower chambers of her heart, along with several additional tiny holes in the muscular portion of the heart wall. Due to this condition, her heart is forced to work harder, affecting her growth, health, and overall well-being.
After thorough evaluation, doctors have advised an urgent open-heart surgery (Ventricular Septal Defect Closure) to repair the defect and give her a chance to lead a healthy life.
The estimated cost of the surgery, hospitalization, ICU care, investigations, and medications is ₹8,00,000 (Rupees Eight Lakhs Only).
Unfortunately, Nikitha’s father earns a modest income through daily wage work and is unable to arrange such a large amount for his daughter’s treatment. The family is exhausted emotionally and financially, and they are now looking to compassionate individuals and organizations for support.
